Symptoms

A job is stuck in "Waiting for Condition" status even though the "Conditions" page of the Instance Details shows that all conditions have been met.

If you select the instance and use the "Force Execution" command from the context menu, the job still does not execute. If you try to terminate the instance, it remains "Waiting for Condition" until the adTempus service is restarted.

Cause

This problem occurs due to a bug in adTempus that occurs only sometimes, if specific factors are present.

It only affects jobs on an adTempus instance configured in "Master" mode, in Queues configured to check conditions on the Master.

More Information

There is no way to work around this problem and cause the job to run once it is stuck in the waiting status. The only way to clear the status is to restart the adTempus service.
