Symptoms

In a few windows in the Console, clicking a specific button other than the Cancel button causes the window to behave as if the Cancel button had been clicked.

More Information

The affected windows and buttons are:

• Job Queue Properties window, Distributed Scheduling tab. Clicking the Add button to add an Agent correctly causes the Remote Agent selection window to be displayed. After this window is closed, the Job Queue Properties window closes and all changes are discarded.
• File Condition Properties window, File Condition tab. Clicking the edit button next to the File Specification correctly displays a text edit window. After this window is closed, the File Condition Properties window closes and all changes are discarded.
• Script Execution Task Properties window, Script tab, PowerShell Options section. Clicking the edit button next to the Command-Line Parameters correctly displays a text edit window. After this window is closed, the Script Execution Task Properties window closes and all changes are discarded.
• Job Instance Properties window. Clicking the OK closes the window without saving any notes entered for the instance.
