Symptoms

When you try to open a report in Report Commander, Report Commander gives an error similar to the following:

Cannot open report: Load report failed.: Error in File XXX.rpt: Failed to logon to the Crystal Report Object Repository

Cause

This error occurs if the report has a connection to a Business Objects Repository or Central Management Server.

Resolution

Report Commander does not support reports with Business Objects connections, due to limitations of the SAP components that Report Commander uses to process reports.
