Symptoms

When adTempus is installed on a non-English version of Windows, the adTempus service may fail to start. The Application log in the Windows Event Viewer will show the following message from adTempus:

ADT005016    The adTempus service is configured to run under a user account instead of the Local System account. This configuration is not allowed: adTempus must run under the Local System account to function correctly. See www.arcanadev.com/go/1995 for more information

Cause

This happens because the adTempus service incorrectly thinks it is running under a user account rather than the Local System account.
