Summary

Report Commander supports side-by-side installation of major versions for parallel testing. However, this can cause problems with backward-compatibility for scripts, scheduled tasks, etc.

By default, Report Commander 1.x was installed in "C:\Program Files\Arcana Development\Report Commander" or, on 64-bit computers, to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Arcana Development\Report Commander".

Report Commander 2.x by default is installed in "C:\Program Files\Arcana Development\Report Commander 2". This is done so that upgrading customers can have both versions installed on the same computer for parallel testing.

However, if you have batch files, scripts, scheduled tasks, etc. that are running the "adcrutil.exe" program from the old location, they will not work with the new default configuration, as they will be pointing to the wrong folder.
