Symptoms

When a File Trigger has the "Wait for exclusive access to the file" option checked, adTempus may fail to trigger the job for files that match the trigger file criteria.

Cause

In some cases adTempus incorrectly handles files if it cannot obtain exclusive access to them on the first attempt.

Status

This issue was corrected in a maintenance update released on April 30, 2008. See article K00000304 for information about obtaining this update.
