Symptoms

When you use the Event Log trigger in adTempus, adTempus may report the message for some Event Log records as "UNKNOWN" instead of reporting the actual message, which is shown properly when you look at the record using the Windows Event Viewer.

Cause

This problem occurs when an event source specifies more than one EventMessageFile in the Registry: adTempus does not properly handle multiple message files.
