Symptoms
When adTempus encounters a database error from which it cannot recover, it logs the following message to the Application log in the computer's Event Viewer:
A catastrophic database error has occurred. adTempus may not function correctly until the adTempus service is restarted. Restart the service, then contact technical support and provide diagnostic log file filename.
Troubleshooting
Restart the adTempus service.
If the adTempus service fails to start, review article K00000222 for information on interpreting the log file named in the message, and see the "More Information" section of that article for links to information on specific database issues.
If you are not able to identify and resolve the problem based on the troubleshooting information listed above, contact Arcana Development for technical support. Be sure to include the log file named in the error message.
