Symptoms

When you check the Capture the file option in a File Trigger, adTempus does not capture the file that triggers the job.

Workaround

In many cases you can achieve the same result by using a File Capture Action in a Response that runs when the job starts. Use the same settings for the File Capture Action as you used for the File Trigger, and adTempus will capture the file(s) that matched the specifications for the trigger.

This workaround may also capture files that did not cause the job to trigger. For example, if the trigger was configured to start the job when any ".txt" file in a specified directory is modified, the File Capture Action will capture all ".txt" files in the directory, not just the one that caused the job to be run.
