Summary

When attempting to view the jobs on a remote computer with the Job Browser, the program displays a "permission denied" (error 70) error message.

More Information

The Job Browser uses the Scheduler's ActiveX API to connect to the Scheduler; this requires that the DCOM permissions be set properly.

Workaround

This problem occurs if the Distributed COM (DCOM) permissions are not configured properly on the remote computer. See article I02000035 for information on setting these permissions.
