Summary

The Scheduler fails to start a scheduled program. The status of the program is "failed to start"; in the Event Log the Scheduler logs an error similar to the following:

Error starting program xxx. The directory name is invalid.

This error generally indicates that the directory specified in the "Startup directory" box in the Program Properties dialog box is invalid.
