Hi,

While doing some administration, I noticed that the ad-tempus (Product Version: 4.2.0) server  process was consuming all of the available CPU cycles on the server for 70-80 sec when no jobs were executing. then It will use 0 cycles for 30 sec and keep going with this behavior during the day.

Server Info:
CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2603 0 @ 1.80 GHz

Rma: 2.50 GB

64 bit OS ,Windows server 2012 R2

Thanks,

Try closing any instances of the Console that are connected to that server, and see if the spikes still happen.

If not, the problem is happening when the server is handling refresh requests from the Console. That could happen if there is a lot of job history but a fix in version 4.3 should solve it.

If the problem still happens with no Consoles connected, the other thing that would be happening at a regular interval would be a trigger that does polling, like if you have file triggers that have to scan a lot of files or folders, or e-mail triggers that have to process a lot of mail. Do you have any triggers like that?
