Do I need to stop and start the adTempus service after making changes to the Security Options? Or do those settings take effect immediately? I was doing a bit of testing with these options, and they didn't appear to have any effect. At one point though the service crashed, and I had to manually start it. After that point, it appeared the changes I made were in effect - so I'm not exactly sure what caused them to work.

Security changes take effect immediately. However, if you make changes to server-level security settings (through Tools/Server Options) they may not affect other clients that are already connected until those clients restart their Consoles.
